Job summary

Minopex is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the on-site SHEQMS implementation, ensuring compliance with MHSA and OHSA while supporting business strategies and promoting a culture of safety. The role includes risk management, audits, and stakeholder engagement to drive continuous improvement.

The position requires 8–10 years of plant operations experience, relevant qualifications, and the ability to coordinate regulatory inspections and DMPR interactions on site near Aggeneys.

Qualifications

• Matric with relevant NQF4+ safety qualification.
• National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management.
• Health and Safety certifications (SAMTRAC/COMSOC/NEBOSH).
• Incident investigation competency (ICAM/RCAT).
• MHSA and OHSA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continual improvement of the onsite SHEQMS.
• Ensure compliance with MHSA, OHSA, and group standards.
• Coach and mentor Safety Officers and Coordinators.
