Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar SHEQ leadership role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ-related legislation and best practices.

  • Oversee environmental compliance and monitor SHEQ performance metrics.
  • Oversee environmental compliance including waste management and emissions control.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards through internal audits and reviews.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain industry relationships to stay ahead of changes.

Job description

Are you a seasoned SHEQ professional ready to drive safety, quality, and compliance to the next level? Our client is seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, systems, and procedures in line with local and international standards.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and site inspections to proactively identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and driving effective preventative measures.
  • Deliver safety training and awareness programmes across all levels of the organization.
  • Monitor SHEQ performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management and emissions control.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards through internal audits and process reviews.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong industry relationships to stay ahead of compliance changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Recognised certifications in Health & Safety, Environmental, or Quality Management are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar SHEQ leadership role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ-related legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and relevant SHEQ software tools.
