Job summary

JenRecruitment PTY Ltd is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead Safety, Health, Environment and Quality programmes in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk management, and maintaining certifications to foster a proactive safety and quality culture.

You will drive audits, investigations and continuous improvement across all departments, ensuring robust documentation and stakeholder reporting in line with POPIA and local laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• 5–7 years' dedicated SHEQ management experience.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and internal auditing.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organisation’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality programmes.
• Drive regulatory compliance, manage risk and maintain certifications.
• Promote a proactive culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across all departments.
• Implement and maintain safety and health policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular facility and workplace audits and oversee incident investigations.
• Oversee environmental management, QMS and internal audits.
• Ensure reporting and documentation for SHEQ compliance.
