Job summary

homechoice is seeking a Showroom Manager to lead day-to-day showroom operations in a sales-driven environment. You will drive sales, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service while controlling costs and stock. The role requires leadership across teams, strong planning, and capability in promotions and merchandising to maximise performance.

You will oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback, while maintaining brand standards and governance across the showroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a retail, sales-driven environment.
• Minimum of 5 years leading and managing teams.
• Proven ability to manage performance, expenses, shrinkage, and customer service.
• Clear credit and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Drive showroom sales performance against targets, budgets, and growth objectives.
• Lead daily performance discussions and huddles; set daily targets.
• Monitor hourly to monthly performance; coach to improve conversion and upselling.
• Ensure promotions, sign-off, and feedback submission are executed.
• Lead, motivate and manage a diverse showroom team; optimize staffing.
• Oversee training, induction, and development initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Manage expenses, cash handling, and reconciliation.
