Job summary

Toyota Johannesburg is seeking a motivated Showroom Sales Executive to join our team. You will assist customers in selecting vehicles, work toward sales targets, and maintain showroom standards while building lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 2–3 years in automotive sales or customer service. The role involves CRM use, financing coordination, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced showroom

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications in sales, customer relationship management, or automotive retail will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in showroom sales, vehicle sales, retail sales, or automotive customer service.
• Prior experience within the automotive industry or vehicle dealership environment is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Sales & Customer Engagement: welcome and assist customers with professionalism and enthusiasm; understand requirements and recommend vehicles; demonstrate features and explain warranties; build long-term relationships and achieve sales targets.
• Showroom Management: ensure the showroom is visually appealing and organized; monitor displays and pricing updates; support events and campaigns.
• Lead Generation & Sales Growth: identify and pursue new opportunities; generate leads through multiple channels; follow up to convert inquiries into sales; maintain CRM.
• Sales Administration & Documentation: prepare quotations and financing paperwork; coordinate with finance/insurance; update CRM with interactions.
• Customer Service & After-Sales Support: provide excellent after-sales support; address concerns; communicate service schedules and promotions.
• Market Awareness & Competitor Analysis: monitor industry trends; stay informed on pricing and new vehicle technologies; provide market insights to management.
