Ultra Personnel in Germiston is seeking an experienced insurance professional to manage and grow a client portfolio, service a defined book, and develop new business opportunities. This in-office role emphasizes compliance, accurate documentation, and strong client relationships to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

You will handle risk assessments, quotations, and negotiations with insurers while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–10 years’ experience in the insurance industry (short-term/commercial/Assets All Risks/personal lines/travel)
• Managing and growing a client portfolio

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an allocated portfolio of insurance clients
• Actively source, develop, and secure new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Conduct client reviews and risk assessments
• Provide tailored insurance solutions aligned with client needs
• Prepare and present quotations and proposals
• Negotiate terms with insurers and underwriting partners
• Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are adhered to
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation (own administration)
• Assist with claims support and resolution if and where required

• Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and policy structures
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Although position is in office own vehicle and license is required for client visits
• Excellent English language skills – speaking and writing
