Shopping Centre Property Manager

As a Property Manager, you will oversee a range ofbuildings, ensuring their optimal performance across key areas includingestablishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with tenants,manage and control personnel, service contractors, repairs, revamps, tenantinstallations, inspections and general building administration. To contributetowards the development and training of staff within the company.

• Marketingof Space & Renewals (30%): Manage the vacancy list and marketing plan,handle lease negotiations, and secure sustainable income streams. Ensureaccurate contract administration and timely tenant installations. Monitorand address outstanding renewals.
  
• PropertyManagement (10%): Supervise service contracts, inspections, tenantinstallations, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with OHS Act and otherstatutory requirements, manage recordkeeping, and prepare managementreports.
  
• Budgeting& Expense Control (40%): Contribute to budgeting, manage income andexpenses, oversee energy management, and monitor expenses. Evaluateincome, manage outstanding rent-rolls, and handle legal cases.
  
• Liaison(20%): Facilitate communication between tenants, clients, brokers, and thepublic. Address tenant issues, provide feedback to external clients, andassist brokers with queries and deals.
  

Requirements

• MinimumGrade 12.
  
• Abusiness property-related tertiary qualification is preferred.
  
• ValidFidelity Fund Certificate (FFC), as well as compliance in terms of theeducation requirements with the Property Practitioners RegulatoryAuthority (PPRA).
