Job summary

Top Talent PS is seeking a Shopping Centre Manager in Johannesburg to lead full day-to-day centre operations. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, arrears, and tenant performance while coordinating marketing, maintenance and security.

The role requires a strong communicator and senior leader with a minimum of 5+ years in retail centre/property management, plus a relevant tertiary qualification and a valid driver’s licence. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Management or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in retail centre/property management.
• Experience managing a full centre management function.
• Strong understanding of retail property financials, budgets, arrears, utilities and recoveries.
• Experience preparing professional management and Board reports.
• Proven experience leading a multi-disciplinary centre team.
• Strong Excel skills and reporting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide full centre management and day-to-day operations oversight.
• Prepare monthly management and Board packs with financial reports.
• Manage tenant relationships, leasing updates and arrears.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, security and service providers.
• Lead centre marketing, events and tenant engagement.
• Monitor KPIs like footfall and turnover and report to client/owners.
• Lead and manage the centre team with performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance, risk management and health & safety.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cost control measures.
