Placements24 is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee production during assigned shifts at the Sandton facility. You will supervise a production team, ensure targets for throughput, quality, and safety are met, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication under pressure, with the flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years of supervisory/managerial experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Strong understanding of FMCG production processes, quality and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and direct all production activities during your assigned shift.
• Meet targets for volume, quality and efficiency.
• Motivate and develop the production team members.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies.
• Monitor equipment and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain strict quality control throughout production.
• Prepare shift reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with maintenance and logistics for seamless operations.
• Lead team briefings and provide staff feedback.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
