Sasol is seeking an experienced mining professional at Secunda, Mpumalanga, to coach and guide personnel towards high-performance teams in mining operations. You will ensure safe practices, comply with mining regulations, and drive cost and KPI targets across shifts.

With 6+ years in mining and a blasting certificate, you will lead by example, plan effectively, supervise maintenance, and deliver results aligned to budget and safety standards.

Formación

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3 is required.
• Valid Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant mining experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and lead day-to-day activities to meet KPIs for safe coal production.
• Ensure equipment downtime, shift planning, MTTR/MTTF, and maintenance programs.
• Adhere to SOPs, governance bodies and safety legislation.
• Ensure availability of spares, equipment and resources; govern electronic timekeeping.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate planning to meet Rand per ton targets and budgeted volumes.
• Control costs to achieve production within budget and reporting calendar.
