Job summary

Pick n Pay Retailers in Durban North is seeking a diligent team member to merchandise and pack products according to standards, while maintaining hygiene and safety.

You will check quality, rotate stock, prevent wastage, check pricing and assist customers with courtesy. The role requires flexibility across shifts and a willingness to be multiskilled within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent; competency-based interview required.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages.
• Check temperatures/ maintain the cold chain (if applicable).
• Check correct pricing e.g. labels.
• Adhere to and maintain security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
• Respond to customers' queries in courteous manner.
• Promote products.
• Offload trucks.
