Job summary

Pick n Pay Retailers in Somerset West is seeking a merchandiser to ensure products are displayed according to standards, check stock quality, rotate inventory, and prevent wastage. The role requires attention to detail, numeracy, and a customer-minded approach.

You will work closely with the team to maintain temperature controls where needed, ensure accurate pricing, and assist in promoting products. A Grade 12 with competency-based interview is required.

Responsibilities

• Check temperatures and maintain the cold chain (if applicable).
• Check correct pricing/labels.
• Adhere to and maintain security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
• Respond to customers’ queries in a courteous manner.
• Promote products.
• Offload trucks.
