Job summary

Rhodes University is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions and integrations. You will work on bidirectional integrations with external systems, including AWS, and enhance Event Management, CMDB data, and catalog items.

You will script with JavaScript, build API-driven workflows, and implement DevOps Change functionality while keeping documentation up to date and aligned with best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong ServiceNow scripting skills, particularly JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with bidirectional integrations.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS services.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Event Management.
• Strong API experience, including REST and SOAP web services.
• Solid understanding of CMDB structures, relationships, and data management.
• Experience with ServiceNow DevOps Change.
• Experience developing Service Catalog items and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, DevOps, and ITIL processes.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
