Placements24 seeks a Well Intervention Specialist for our client in Klerksdorp, North West. You will plan, execute, and supervise workovers, completions, and fishing operations to maintain and restore well productivity.

The role demands 7+ years in oil & gas well intervention, deep knowledge of completion equipment, downhole tools, and slickline/wireline techniques, plus strong leadership and safety focus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering is required.
• Mechanical Engineering degree acceptable.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on well intervention experience.
• Expertise in workover, completion, and fishing operations.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and safe operations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and execute well intervention programs, including workovers, completions, and recompletions.
• Develop detailed procedures, risk assessments, and contingency plans for interventions.
• Supervise intervention operations on site, ensuring safety and spec adherence.
• Coordinate intervention crews, service providers, and equipment mobilization.
• Monitor well conditions, perform diagnostics, and optimize interventions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and HSE policies.
• Evaluate equipment and techniques for performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot problems during interventions and devise solutions.
• Conduct post-job analyses and report outcomes.
• Maintain communication with asset teams and operations management.
