Placements24 seeks a seasoned Well Services Supervisor to oversee Klerksdorp operations, ensuring safe and efficient well intervention, workover, and completion activities in oil and gas. You will lead skilled crews, enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement in a remote field environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in well services with 3+ in supervision, strong HSE knowledge, and proven problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well services or related oil and gas operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven knowledge of workover, completion, and well intervention techniques and equipment.
• Strong understanding of HSE principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a remote, field-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of well intervention, workover, and completion operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement detailed JSAs and operational plans.
• Lead and mentor well services crews, fostering safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage equipment readiness, maintenance, and logistics for well services operations.
• Monitor operational performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
