Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years in well intervention, workovers, and production engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Proven experience designing and executing complex intervention programs.
• Strong understanding of artificial lift technologies and production optimization.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a significant operator in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Well Intervention Engineer to join their Production Enhancement team. This role is situated in Paarl, Western Cape, ZA , and will focus on developing and executing strategies to maintain and improve production from existing wells. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing various well intervention operations, including workovers, completions, and artificial lift system optimization. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The hybrid work model allows for focused planning and analysis in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely on specific tasks, fostering effective team collaboration and individual productivity.

Key Responsibilities
