Placements24 is seeking a Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join a leading energy infrastructure player in Paarl, Western Cape. You will develop and implement well integrity management systems, lead risk assessments, and supervise maintenance and monitoring programs for oil and gas wells.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, at least six years of experience in well integrity, and knowledge of API RP 90 and ISO 16530.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in well integrity engineering within oil and gas.
• Knowledge of API RP 90 and ISO 16530.
• Experience with well integrity software and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage well integrity management systems (WIMS) per policies and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and integrity reviews of wells; identify failure mechanisms.
• Oversee well integrity testing, monitoring, and surveillance programs.
• Plan and supervise well intervention and repair operations related to integrity issues.
• Analyze well integrity data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
