Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects in South Africa. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards to deliver high-impact solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in project management with 5+ years in water infrastructure, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in project management with 5+ years in water/wastewater projects.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale engineering projects end-to-end.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and regulations in SA.
• Experience leading remote teams and multidisciplinary groups.

Aufgaben

• Oversee complete project lifecycle for water and wastewater facilities from concept to commissioning.
• Develop detailed plans: scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Mentor and lead engineers, scientists, and contractors across sites.
• Manage budgets, controls, and cost forecasting within parameters.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and QA standards.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and communities.
• Prepare reports and updates for senior management.
