Job summary

Abantu Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Manager to run daily warehouse operations in a manufacturing setting in South Africa, including receiving, storage, packing and dispatch.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Warehouse Management/Logistics, 5 years’ experience with up to 3 in supervision, and strong planning, problem-solving and customer‑focused skills, plus supervisory leadership of staff and adherence to SHE and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in warehouse management, distribution or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree adds advantage for the role.
• 5 years’ warehousing/logistics experience in manufacturing, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with attention to operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, packing and dispatch.
• Oversee stock control, stocktakes, reconciliations and variances.
• Coordinate distribution planning, export packing and third‑party logistics.
• Ensure compliance with SHE, quality, security and procedures.
• Lead, develop and supervise warehouse staff.
• Monitor budgets and drive cost control and efficiency.
