Job summary

SET Consulting is seeking a seasoned Warehouse & Distribution Manager in Cape Town, South Africa, to oversee warehouse and transport operations within a Distribution Centre, drive efficiency, staff welfare, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 10–12 years in warehousing and distribution within FMCG/QSR environments, a tertiary logistics qualification, and advanced MS Excel skills, plus experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years in warehousing & distribution management in FMCG/QSR.
• Bachelor/Hons in Logistics or related field.
• MS Office and advanced Excel skills; experience with WMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse and transport performance within budgeted KPIs.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance with QSP policies.
• Plan resources and budgets; monitor plans and variances.
• Lead audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
