Abantu Staffing Solutions in East London is seeking a Logistics -- Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, processing, and dispatch of stock to stores. You will lead a team of about 120 staff and drive productivity, accuracy, and cost control within the budget.

The role requires a 12th grade or Diploma in logistics, 5–10 years in a similar role, and a valid Code 08 license.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or certificate in logistics/warehousing is advantageous.
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in a similar role.
• Clothing retail experience is advantageous.
• Valid Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Ensure stock flow through the warehouse is efficient with high accuracy.
• Liaise with buying, finance and operations to maximise stock flow.
• Meet receiving, picking and shipping deadlines.
• Identify and minimise stock losses and discrepancies.
• Plan staff workload and shift staff to meet demand.
• Maintain cost-effective staffing aligned to budgets.
• Oversee fleet, transporters, and delivery routes for efficiency.
• Procure store supplies and uniforms.
• Report to CEO as part of EXCO; participate in governance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
