Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher for a fully remote role focused on understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations to inform design decisions and drive product innovation. You will design studies, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of UX research experience, a strong portfolio, and expertise across qualitative and quantitative methods.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, or related field; Bachelor's with significant relevant experience also considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional UX research experience in a product development setting.
• Proven experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Proficiency in using research tools and platforms for recruitment, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.
• Portfolio showcasing past UX research projects and impact.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies (usability testing, interviews, surveys).
• Develop research protocols, test plans, and discussion guides.
• Recruit and screen participants for studies.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify insights and pain points.
• Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for product teams.
• Present findings to stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Engineers to meet user needs.
• Advocate for user-centered design and best practices.
• Stay current with UX research trends and methods.
• Contribute to development of UX research processes and tools.
