Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a deeply empathetic and analytical Remote UX Researcher to join a globally distributed team. This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere and focus on understanding user needs to inform design and product development.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to advocate for the user, translate findings into actionable insights, and contribute to the advancement of UX research practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of UX research experience in a professional setting.
• Experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting).
• Analyze research data to identify user needs, pain points, and key insights.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product design and strategy.
• Collaborate with product teams to define research objectives and scope.
• Present research findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to represent user understanding.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of UX research practices and methodologies.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging research techniques.
