The role focuses on optimizing existing oil and gas assets, evaluating new opportunities, production analysis, well performance, reservoir management, and field development planning in a remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of upstream oil and gas experience.
• Proficient in production engineering, well analysis and reservoir management.
• Experience with EOR a plus.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze well performance data and identify opportunities for production enhancement.
• Develop artificial lift strategies and workover programs.
• Perform decline curve analysis and production forecasting.
• Conduct reservoir simulations and assist in reservoir management.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and investment proposals.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, facility engineers, and drilling engineers.
• Evaluate technical and economic feasibility of new development projects.
• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices in upstream petroleum engineering.
