Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Randburg, Gauteng-based client in the Oil & Gas sector. You will drive upstream projects from concept through commissioning, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

Strong leadership and PM expertise are essential to lead cross-functional teams and ensure safe, on-time delivery. The role offers a hybrid work model, relocation support, and exposure to flagship energy projects in a dynamic Gauteng environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering and management, preferably oil & gas upstream.
• PMI/PMP knowledge or certification is preferred.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of upstream oil and gas projects from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project execution plans with scope, timelines, resources and budgets.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, changes, and documentation; report status.
