Placements24 is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a fully remote, permanent team in the Oil & Gas sector. You will analyze complex reservoir data, build dynamic models, and forecast production to optimize recovery across multiple projects within South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of reservoir engineering experience with emphasis on simulation and modeling.
• Proficiency in ECLIPSE, CMG and Halliburton tools.
• Strong analytical and remote-work capabilities.
• Industry experience in Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir studies using static and dynamic data.
• Develop and refine reservoir models with advanced simulation software.
• Perform production forecasting and decline analysis.
• Optimize development strategies and well placement.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to management.
• Collaborate with geoscience and drilling teams.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Participate in remote team meetings and planning.
