Responsibilities

• Dispatching truck drivers to appropriate locations based on load assignments and delivery schedules.
• Monitoring driver progress and communication throughout their routes using GPS and communication systems.
• Optimizing routes and load assignments to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times and costs.
• Effectively managing driver hours of service (HOS) regulations to ensure compliance.
• Coordinating with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth pickup and delivery processes.
• Responding to and resolving any issues or delays that occur during transit, such as breakdowns or traffic incidents.
• Maintaining accurate dispatch records and updating systems with real-time information.
