You will analyze traffic patterns, forecast needs, and design integrated transport solutions for road networks and public transit. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree (Transportation) with Pr. Eng./Pr.

Tech. Eng. registration, 7+ years in transportation planning and design, and proficiency in modeling software and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or Technologist (Pr. Tech. Eng.) registration with ECSA.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation planning and design.
• Proficiency with transportation modeling software and GIS tools.
• Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic studies, demand forecasting, and network analysis for urban and regional transportation systems.
• Develop integrated transportation plans, policies, and strategies.
• Design road networks, intersection improvements, and public transport infrastructure.
• Utilize transportation modeling software (e.g., PTV Vissim, Cube) to simulate and evaluate scenarios.
• Collaborate with urban planners, municipal officials, and stakeholders to align transportation goals with development objectives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for transportation projects.
