Responsibilities include designing networks, conducting traffic studies, and mentoring junior engineers within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation Engineering or Urban Planning.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering and urban mobility planning.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software (VISSIM, SIDRA INTERSECTION) and GIS tools.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, network analysis, and public transport planning.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation master plans, traffic impact studies, and infrastructure design projects.
• Analyze traffic data, model transportation networks, and propose solutions for congestion management and safety improvements.
• Design road networks, intersections, public transport facilities, and active transport infrastructure (cycling and pedestrian paths).
• Ensure designs comply with transportation engineering standards and urban planning policies.
• Liaise with government agencies, developers, and community groups to ensure project alignment and buy-in.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the transportation team.
