Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Transportation specialization.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is essential.
• Experience in road design, traffic studies and traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Lead geometric design of rural and urban roads, highways, and intersections.
• Conduct traffic studies, capacity analyses and traffic impact assessments.
• Develop transportation plans and strategies.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and contract documents.

You will be a key contributor, responsible for leading design teams, developing traffic management solutions, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation networks. Requirements

• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. is essential.
• Proficiency in transportation engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PTV Vissim, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of geometric road design principles and traffic engineering standards in South Africa.
• Experience in traffic impact studies, traffic modeling, and intersection design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment in Bloemfontein, Free State .
• A valid driver's license and willingness to undertake site visits as needed.
