Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and analysis of transportation infrastructure projects such as roads, interchanges, and traffic management systems.
• Conduct traffic studies, demand forecasting, and network analysis using specialized software.
• Prepare detailed design reports, geometric design layouts, and construction specifications.
• Oversee traffic signal design, pavement design, and drainage considerations for transportation projects.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and provincial transportation standards and policies.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and government agencies to integrate transportation solutions.

Requirements

• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer.
• A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in transportation planning and design.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA INTERSECTION, PTV VISUM).
• Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, road design standards, and safety analysis.
• Experience with public transport infrastructure planning and traffic impact assessments.
