Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• PrEng registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with traffic modeling software (VISSIM, SIDRA) and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including road alignment, intersection design, and traffic control systems.
• Conduct traffic impact studies, capacity analyses, and develop recommendations for network improvements.
• Prepare detailed design reports, construction drawings, and specifications for roadworks, interchanges, and related infrastructure.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with urban planners, environmental specialists, and other disciplines to integrate transportation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant transportation standards, codes, and South African regulatory requirements in Pretoria.
