Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer with experience in transportation infrastructure to lead design, planning and execution of road, highway and public transit projects from our Rustenburg office. You will collaborate with government agencies, construction partners and stakeholders across the North West province to deliver mobility solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on project management, site supervision, and delivering quality infrastructure within schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related transport modeling software.
• PE registration is an advantage.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, intersections and drainage systems.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Conduct traffic studies and analyses to inform design decisions and improve traffic flow.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies and the public to address project concerns.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other software for design and modeling.
