You will oversee studies, traffic analysis, and design of sustainable solutions, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with public and private clients in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with Transportation specialization, Pr.Eng registration, and 8+ years of experience including project management and software like VISSIM,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Transportation specialization.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering including project management and network analysis.
• Experience with transportation planning software (VISSIM, SIDRA, Cube, TransCAD).
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and analysis of transportation systems including roads, public transport and active travel.
• Perform traffic studies with volume counts, capacity analysis and simulation modeling.
• Develop transportation demand models and forecasts for long-term planning.
• Prepare reports, specifications and design documentation for projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies and stakeholders on integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
