• Knowledge of GIS and CAD software for transportation planning and design.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the Stellenbosch area.

Responsibilities

This role is integral to shaping the future of urban mobility and traffic management within the region. You will lead the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, including road networks, intersections, public transport facilities, and active transportation corridors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traffic engineering principles, transportation modeling, and urban planning concepts. You will work collaboratively with municipal planners, developers, and community stakeholders to create safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation systems. This hybrid role combines focused office-based design and analysis with essential on-site project engagement.

• Experience with GIS and CAD software for transportation planning and design.
• Strong understanding of public transport planning and non-motorized transport infrastructure.
