Qualifications

• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and analysis of transportation systems including roads, public transport and active travel.
• Perform traffic studies with volume counts, capacity analysis and simulation modeling.
• Develop transportation demand models and forecasts for long-term planning.
• Prepare reports, specifications and design documentation for projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA is required.

• Proven experience with transportation planning software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA, Cube, TransCAD).
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, highway design, and public transport operations.
