Placements24 is seeking a Lead Business Transformation Consultant to spearhead large-scale change initiatives for clients in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role requires guiding organizations through digital, operational, and organizational redesign while building client capabilities and leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant consulting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on business transformation.
• Experience with change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Lean Six Sigma).
• Proven experience leading complex transformation projects.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience traveling across South Africa for engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of large-scale transformation programs, including digital strategy, process re-engineering, and organizational restructuring.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics of client operations to identify root causes of inefficiency and recommend strategic solutions.
• Develop detailed transformation roadmaps, project plans, and implementation strategies.
• Manage all phases of the transformation lifecycle, from initial assessment and planning through to execution and post-implementation review.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive change adoption and build client capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Oversee and mentor a team of consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional development.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
• Collaborate with internal practice groups to leverage best practices and develop new service offerings.
