Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will research global cyber threats, analyze IoCs, and produce reports for technical teams and executives, guiding defensive strategies.

You will develop threat models, collaborate with IR and SOC, and mentor junior analysts while staying ahead of geopolitical cyber trends. You will leverage TIPs, SIEM, and data analysis tools, with strong English communication and scripting skills in Python to automate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable intelligence.
• Solid understanding of threat actor types (APT, financially motivated, hacktivist) and their TTPs.
• Experience with TIPs, SIEM, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Scripting in Python for automation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Research global cyber threats, trends, and threat actor methodologies.
• Analyze threat data from OSINT, dark web, and feeds to identify IoCs.
• Produce threat intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for diverse audiences.
• Develop threat models and actor profiles.
• Collaborate with incident response and security operations teams.
• Recommend defensive measures based on intelligence.
• Contribute to TI platforms and tooling development.
• Engage with external intelligence sharing communities.
• Stay updated on geopolitical events and their cyber impact.
• Mentor junior analysts and grow TI capability.
