Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to lead threat hunting, develop intelligence gathering methodologies, and provide actionable insights for defensive strategies from a fully remote home office.

You will work with OSINT sources, MITRE ATT&CK, SIEMs, and malware analysis tools, mentoring junior staff and shaping the threat intel program across a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat intelligence, IR, or security operations.
• Knowledge of cyber threat actors, TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with threat intel platforms, SIEMs, and malware analysis tools.
• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection, analysis, and dissemination of threat intelligence on adversaries, campaigns and malware.
• Develop and implement advanced threat hunting methodologies to identify risks.
• Analyze threat data from OSINT, dark web, and internal tools.
• Produce timely, actionable threat intelligence reports for leadership and IR teams.
• Develop threat models and adversary profiles.
