Placements24 is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst for a fully remote role. You will identify, analyze, and report on emerging cyber threats, translating complex intelligence into actionable insights for global operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of threat intelligence experience, strong knowledge of TTPs, malware, and threat actors, plus proficiency with TIPs and OSINT. Remote collaboration and global threat reporting are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in threat intelligence analysis or related security field.
• Experience with TIPs, SIEM, and OSINT techniques.
• Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, TTPs, malware, and attack methods.
• Proficiency in analyzing network traffic, logs, and forensic artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze threat intelligence from open-source, dark web, and proprietary feeds.
• Identify and track APTs, malware campaigns, and threat actor groups.
• Develop and disseminate timely, actionable intelligence reports for stakeholders and clients.
• Provide expert analysis on threat actor motivations and capabilities.
• Develop threat models and intelligence requirements; support incident response with context.
• Contribute to threat intel platforms and tooling enhancements.
• Present findings and briefings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build relationships with other analysts and security professionals.
• Research emerging attack vectors and defensive strategies.
