Placements24 seeks a Senior Information Security Analyst for a remote-first role. You will develop and manage strategies to protect information systems, lead vulnerability assessments, monitor threats, and guide security best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security, expertise in risk assessment and incident response, and knowledge of network and application security. Certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Cybersecurity and 5+ years in information security.
• Proven track record in security analysis, risk management and incident response.
• Deep knowledge of network security, cryptography and security protocols.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners and endpoint protection.
• CISSP/CISM/CEH desirable; strong communication and remote teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security strategies and policies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to remediate weaknesses.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents; respond to mitigate risks promptly.
• Manage security infrastructure: firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus systems.
• Collaborate with IT to embed security in design and SDLC.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to all levels of the org.
• Stay updated on threats and technologies to enhance security posture.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews.
