Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence for a fully remote role. You will proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate advanced cyber threats, focusing on TTPs, malware analysis, and forensics to support incident response teams and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote environment while staying ahead of evolving

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence or incident response.
• Proven experience analyzing malware, phishing campaigns, and APTs.
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with security tooling (SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS) and threat intel platforms.
• Digital forensics experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze global threat intelligence feeds, security alerts, and incident data.
• Identify emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to the organization.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of malware, phishing campaigns, and APTs.
• Develop and maintain threat profiles of threat actors and their methodologies.
• Produce actionable threat intelligence reports for technical teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with incident response to support investigation and remediation.
• Develop and implement proactive threat hunting strategies.
• Contribute to improvements of security tools and processes.
