Placements24 is seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to lead thermal design for advanced technology projects. The role supports a remote work arrangement with occasional visits to the Centurion facility, focusing on heat transfer, CFD/FEA, and cooling solutions.

You will design, analyze, and optimize thermal management systems, collaborate with hardware teams, and drive improvements in performance and cost. A strong background in thermal sciences and hands-on experience are essential for success in

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with Thermal specialization.
• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in thermal design and analysis.
• Expertise with thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent or COMSOL.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze thermal management systems for complex products.
• Perform CFD/FEA simulations to predict thermal performance.
• Develop test plans and experiments to validate simulations.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate thermal solutions.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and cost reductions.
