Our client is looking for a specialized Remote Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in thermal systems to join their cutting-edge, fully remote team. This role is critical for the design and optimization of advanced cooling and heating solutions across various applications. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, modeling, simulating, and validating thermal management designs, working collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems focused on thermal management, including heat sinks, fans, and fluid cooling systems.
• Utilize advanced thermal simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, COMSOL Heat Transfer) to analyze and predict system performance.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of thermal components and assemblies using industry-standard CAD software.
• Conduct performance validation through simulation and experimental testing, documenting results and implementing design improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including electrical and systems engineers, in a virtual environment.
• Ensure designs meet stringent performance, reliability, and cost targets for a range of products.

Requirements
