Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Field Technician to join a fully remote team from your home office in South Africa. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecoms equipment across client sites, coordinating with support and engineering remotely.

You will document site surveys, installation reports, and repair logs while adhering to safety standards. A strong background in fiber optics, cellular networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), and network monitoring tools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Telecoms Field Technician or similar in telecoms.
• Proficient with fiber optics, splicing, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment, including fiber optics, cellular base stations, and transmission systems.
