Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management, with a significant focus on digital transformation or IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing budgets exceeding R5 million and leading teams of 10+ individuals.
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, and Jira.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in the South African market, particularly in Midrand, Gauteng; ability to thrive in a Hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments for digital transformation projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams, providing direction and guidance to ensure project success.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management through regular reports and presentations.
• Oversee the implementation of new digital solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for project services.
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and workflows.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies.
