The successful candidate will apply knowledge of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics and materials science, using OFFPIPE and SACS for pipeline design and FE analysis,
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
- 6+ years in subsea/oil and gas pipeline design or offshore projects.
- Experience with design software and industry standards.
Aufgaben
- Perform detailed design calculations for subsea pipelines.
- Develop technical specifications for subsea equipment.
- Conduct stress and fatigue analyses.
- Collaborate with ROV and installation engineers.
- Prepare engineering drawings and P&IDs.
- Support procurement by evaluating vendor proposals.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure designs comply with codes and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to risk assessments and HAZID/HAZOP studies.
- Liaise with clients and project management in Pretoria.
