• Extensive experience with SAP2000, ETABS and Prokon.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the structural engineering department, overseeing design, analysis, and documentation for various construction projects.
• Ensure the technical integrity and compliance of all structural designs with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Lead the structural design process for complex building structures, bridges, and other infrastructure.
• Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Provide expert technical advice and mentorship to structural engineers and design teams.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Extensive experience with structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Prokon).
• Thorough knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS) for structural design and construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration and construction oversight.
• Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the Free State province as required.
