The ideal candidate has 8+ years of civil infrastructure experience, a Pr. Eng registration with ECSA, and proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering for civil infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.
• Expertise in SANS and international design codes (Eurocodes, AASHTO).
• Strong understanding of materials science, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, and financial oversight.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of complex civil engineering projects, including bridges, buildings, and transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design specifications, and calculations in compliance with relevant engineering standards and codes.
