Job summary

Recruitify_HR seeks a Civil Engineer (Structural) in Cape Town to lead design and manage water infrastructure projects. You must be an ECSA-registered Professional Engineer or Technologist with at least 2 years post-registration experience in design, planning and contracts, plus strong leadership and BIM skills.

Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required. You will coordinate design teams, ensure quality deliverables within time and budget, and liaise with clients and contractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural design.
• Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience on design, planning and contracts.
• Strong technical experience in water and structural infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design teams to deliver calculations, drawings and reports.
• Ensure deliverables meet codes, standards and budgets within schedule.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
